Defining Design

Design happens through the merging process of form, function, and beauty. It is a manifestation of the capacity of the human spirit to transcend its limitations and cultivate an appetite for uniqueness, and in some cases, peace and serenity. Design is a multifaceted profession. It conducts creative and technical solutions to achieve effective results. These results are created in response to a systematic and coordinated methodology. Conceptual design executes the fundamental principles of balance, color, form and function, space, shape, light and texture. When these concepts are combined they should create rhythm and unity together. Designs emphasis is to acknowledge and encourage enhancement in the quality of life. Its environment is surrounded by aesthetically attractive features, while also integrating comfort and stability. When these design elements are applied, it produces fulfilling results to its occupants.
